Dr. Christopher Horne was raised in Aurora, Ohio where he first experienced chiropractic and physical therapy treatments at the age of 14 from a wrestling injury. He shadowed chiropractors and physical therapists during high school and knew that being a chiropractor is what he wanted to do. While attending Ohio University, Dr. Horne participated as a research assistant in the Physiological Research Department which focused on neurological testing. The Latin origin of Doctor means “to teach”, which Dr. Horne strongly believes. Dr. Horne learned the value of teaching others throughout his time as a student and has held multiple teaching assistant positions, as well as being a tutor for the U.S. Navy. His internship was done at the Cleveland Clinic in the physical therapy department over the course of two summers. Dr. Horne graduated from Ohio University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Science focusing on Physical Therapy and Psychology. While attending Palmer College, Dr. Horne focused on Neurology in the chiropractic field and started attending Functional Neurology seminars with the Carrick Brain Centers. His internship was completed at Functional Healthcare Solutions in North Carolina where he evaluated complex neurological diseases and worked with children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. In June 2013, Dr. Horne graduated from Palmer College with his Doctor of Chiropractic.
